This watercolor pencil set holds 36 pencils with water-soluble pigment cores, plus a sharpener and a brush rolled into a canvas wrap. Draw with them dry for fine detail, then brush water over the marks to blend and soften them into washes. It's an easier entry into watercolor than pans, since you keep the control of a pencil and add water only where you want it.
